Where your driver is waiting
After an international flight, go through immigration, collect your bags and walk to Gate 5. After a domestic flight the driver is at Gate 11. At both gates he holds a sign with your name, so there is no counter to look for and nobody to phone.
The flight number from your booking tells the driver when you really land. A late arrival changes nothing for you, and the waiting time is part of the price.
The road south and how long it takes
The car leaves the airport through the northern suburbs of Bangkok, past Rangsit, and joins Highway 35, the Rama II Road, towards Samut Sakhon. Further south the route runs along Petchkasem Road through Samut Songkhram and Phetchaburi, then past Cha-am into Hua Hin.
The suburbs are the slow part. Once the car is on the divided highway the drive settles down, and the 3 h 50 min quoted here assumes ordinary traffic. On Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, add 20 to 30 minutes.
Short comfort stops are no problem. Tell the driver, and he will pull in at a service station on Highway 35 or near Cha-am.

You pay the driver in cash at the end of the trip. If you prefer, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, transfer by QR code and bank transfer to a Thai account are possible. Cancelling is free. The price is the same at three in the morning as at noon, with one exception: a surcharge of 400 THB per car applies from 24 December to 5 January.
Late flights and budget airlines
Many budget and regional airlines use Don Mueang, and their schedules often put you on the ground late at night or very early in the morning. The service runs 24/7, so a midnight arrival is booked the same way as an afternoon one.
Travelling on a domestic flight with hand luggage only? Gate 11 is your meeting point, and you can be in the car within minutes of leaving the aircraft. Type your flight number into the order form, because the driver relies on it.
Getting out at your Hua Hin address
The drop-off is at the address in your booking: a hotel, a villa or a condominium. Addresses in Khao Takiab, in the hills west of the centre and inside golf course communities are normal destinations, as are small side sois.
